A little long, I know- But I had to get this out. Ohio is making a bill that would void the name change, and they're gathering fuel from people who don't know that full story. Which is pretty much everyone. So all I ask is people just be INFORMED.
Thank you,
Wow! I didn't even know about this. I mean, why would they want to change the name of a mountain of a place they don't even live in. Everyone in facebook likes to judge everything, and become sheeps agreeing with anything they see most of their friends like. You know what made your argument really strong? The fact that you asked your readers to read about this on their own, and form and educated opinion. I may not be from USA, but I'm still part of this continent, Amercia (South America), and, according to what I read, I agree that this change was a good thing, and that no one else can really have a say in this matter but the people of Alaska ^^.
ReplyDeleteYey, It took sooo long to come something out!
ReplyDeleteNow I am happy Denali has it's rightful name for two reasons - one, it never should have been Mt. McKinley. Two, I got to see an epic rant by one of my favorite web comic artists. :D
ReplyDeleteAs an Ohioan... I can tell you, it's localized issue. Most of the state doesn't care.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you posting again!

ReplyDeleteLooks to me that's it's a pissing contest between Ohio and Alaska over something that so incredibly unimportant. Just let the Alaskans call it Denali and have Ohio call it Mckinley. It does not matter. The people of Ohio and especially Alaska have much more important political things to worry about that actually affect their lives.
ReplyDeleteAll this is just a distraction from the actual important issues.
I love your blog, can you make more about you as a kid?!!!!!!!
